The first SsangYong to roll out under Mahindra & Mahindra ownership, the Tivoli was the first SsangYong that did not come back to haunt your nightmares. The car just got its midlife upgrade, which with more than just a new front end. There is a now new powertrain, a 1.2-litre GDi Turbo 3-cylinder mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. With a peak power output of 126 HP and 170 lb-ft of torque, the new engine can push the from 0 to 100 km/h is a pedestrian 10.6 seconds. The interior also got an update, with creature comfort such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto becoming standard on higher trims. Will the new backward "I love it" come to Bangladesh? On the other end of the spectrum, the first production Nissan GT-R50 has finally made its debut. Coach built by Italdesign for Nissan to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the GT-R, only 50 of these bespoke creations will be made for the entire world. The production unit differs little from the prototype, with little change made to the lights and wing mirror caps. Compared to the standard GT-R, GT-R50 is longer, wider and lower to the ground, while its roofline has been lowered by 54mm. Italdesign has also incorporated some aerodynamic improvements, including a new large, adjustable rear wing. Powering each GT-R50 is a hand-built NISMO-tuned 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6, producing 710 HP and 575 lb-ft of torque. Nissan is asking $1.1 million for each GT-R before taxes and options, and according to Italdesign, "a significant number of deposits" have already been taken.
