Indian goes carbon, Honda refreshes the Africa Twin
Indian FTR 1200 S Carbon - When you think of the motorcycle brand Indian, a lightweight flat track street bike isn't what immediately comes to mind. However, that is exactly what the FTR 1200 S Carbon is. A street-legal successor of the FTR 750 race bike, the FTR 1200 has more power, tech, and riding characteristics suitable for road use. It's 1.2-litre liquid cool V-twin outputs a respectable 134 HP and 87 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 RPM. The Carbon edition comes with all carbon body panel and an Akrapovic low mounted performance exhaust, all yours for $18,340, assuming you don't live in a displacement limited country.
2020 Honda Africa Twin 1100 - The beloved Honda Africa Twin got is 2020 release and it got some upgrades. For starters, it now has a bigger engine, a 1.1-litre parallel-twin outputting 100 HP and 105 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 RPM. Some previous creature comfort options now come as standards, such as Apple CarPlay and cruise control for long rides. There are also a plethora of rider aids, a six-axis IMU enabling corning ABS. wheele and rear wheel lift control, engine braking control, and many more. This adventure bike is now probably a lot smarter than many of its to-be user, which is just as well, as doing something really stupid with a $15,794 for street cred is unhealthy.
