Instant messaging app WhatsApp has finally started to roll out a feature that allows you to message yourself.

The 'Message Yourself' feature on WhatsApp will allow users to send notes, reminders, and shopping lists to themselves.

For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel.

When users start a new chat on WhatsApp, their contact name will appear at the top of the contacts list. When they tap that contact, they will be taken to the chat screen, where they can send messages to themselves.

Users can also pin their self-chat messages to the top of the conversation list if they do not want to search for them in their cluttered chats list.

The new messaging feature on WhatsApp will be available to all Android and iPhone users in the coming weeks.
