Local entrepreneur support platform Uddokta Hoi awards future innovators

Uddokta Hoi is a popular local platform for emerging entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. Through various training and projects, the platform is collaborating with entrepreneurs and providing various kinds of support to make digital entrepreneurs prosper in their respective industries. Following this, the Digital Entrepreneur Summit 2021 organised by Uddokta Hoi was held on Saturday, December 25, at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro.
The event was sponsored by the popular global payment gateway system PingPong. The industry partners of the event were Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), E-commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB) and Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society (BFDS). Bangladesh Institute of Technology and Management (BITM) was the knowledge partner. The Daily Star was the media partner. Junior Club International (JCI) was the youth engagement partner and the online grocery platforms Green Grocery and Protein Market were the gift partners. Stylopeak, a local print-on-demand platform, was the t-shirt partner.
The event was addressed by Ping Pong India Country Manager, Mukesh Kumar Sahu and Regional Sales Head, Rohan Dani, alongside President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), Syed Almas Kabir; Head of Business of The Daily Star Bangladesh, Shuvashish Roy; E-Cab Vice President, Sahab Uddin Shipon; Dr. Tanziba Rahman, Chairman, Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society (BFDS); SM Belal Uddin, CEO of Bangladesh Institute of Technology and Management and CEO of Texort and Founder of Uddokta Hoi.
At the event, Uddokta Hoi presented awards to six of its successful members, who earned up to US$1,000, US$5,000, US$10,000, US$25,000, US$50,000, and US$100,000 in cash prizes. After receiving the awards, they shared their success stories. Through the event, Global Payment Solution Ping Pong officially launched in Bangladesh and the popular Bangladeshi digital marketing agency Texort started working as Ping Pong's local partner in Bangladesh through the MOU signing activities.
SM Belal Uddin, CEO of Texort and Founder of Uddokta Hoi, gave an overview of where entrepreneurs have the opportunity to take up new ventures in the coming days and how they can keep pace with the digital age and become digital entrepreneurs themselves. Uddokta Hoi also promised to provide further support to local entrepreneurs in various sectors.
