Simeen Hussain made AL presidium member

Simeen Hussain Rimi, an Awami League lawmaker from the Gazipur-4 constituency, has been made a member of the AL presidium.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced her name as an AL presidium member at the sixth national conference of the Mahila Awami League held at the Suhrawardy Udyan today.

Simeen is the daughter of Bangladesh's first prime minister Tajuddin Ahmed.

She was previously a member of the incumbent central committee of the Awami League.
