Students who will be sitting for public examinations formed a human chain in Barisal city yesterday protesting the government's announcement that public examinations may be held without any gap in future.
They also demanded punishment for those responsible for leaking questions of public exams.
The students under the banner “Sachetan Shikkharti Brinda” organised a rally afterwards in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall in the city.
Students said although they are not responsible for leaking questions of public exams, they are being punished for the crime.
The government last week made the announcement that it is considering holding exams without intervals to check question paper leaks.
