JAAGO Foundation partners up with Bdjobs.com
JAAGO Foundation has announced a partnership with Bdjobs.com for a joint collaboration towards building the capacity of the nation's youth.
Recently, JAAGO Foundation and Bdjobs.com signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Bdjobs.com's Head Office at Kawran Bazar, Dhaka. The exceptional partnership is envisaged to explore the potential of Bangladesh's youth and ways to facilitate them in developing the skills required for professional development. Through career counseling, the two organisations will work towards bridging the gaps between employers and employees.
JAAGO Foundation has a Youth Development Programme, which provides the youth of the nation a voice and a platform for volunteerism and engage them in community building activities. Under this programme, they have the "Volunteer for Bangladesh" project, which has over 35,000 registered volunteers in 32 districts across Bangladesh. It is a platform to build their capacity through working in different projects chasing the Sustainable Development Goals by United Nations. With a vision of making a sustainable impact, "Volunteer for Bangladesh" is continuously working for building a better Bangladesh
This collaboration between Bdjobs.com and JAAGO Foundation not only aims to empower the youth but also create opportunities by arranging workshops, conferences, career counseling, professional development classes, training, learning opportunities and job fairs.
"The capacity within the youth of Bangladesh is boundless. In order for them to use their full potential, we are hoping to help them find what drives them and aids in shaping their future," expresses Korvi Rakshand, Executive Director, JAAGO Foundation.
