1 Minute Please
Do you remember your first scene that you had to deliver in front of the camera?
I faced the camera for the first time when I was only two and a half years old! I do not remember anything, but my mother says that I had delivered a memorised script. The super brain of the child indeed!
What are the three things that you would take with you to a deserted island?
That would depend on the duration of my stay and also the reason behind it. I would probably take water, a hath pakha (a hand fan) and a book – a traveling necessity in my case.
As an architect, which era (for architecture and design) do you like the most and why?
Each era is significant for its unique characteristics. Amongst all I like the Greek era because the architecture is not only focused on dignified and gracious structures but also the new idea of open spaces for public gathering like the Agora that sustained Greek civic life; the style and well proportion of structural elements.
What's playing on your play-list right now?
Right this moment? The Hanging Tree from Mockingjay.
If you were given a chance to recreate any building or structure of significance in the world, what would it be?
I would like to change and recreate my city Dhaka.
If you were given a chance to play a role from your favourite movie, what role would it be and from which movie?
Nina Sayers from the movie Black Swan (unfortunately I am neither young nor a ballet dancer!)
What is your favourite midnight snack?
Can we consider chocolate as snack please?
When was the last time you read a book?
I am always reading something of the other – either something academic or non-academic. Now I am reading Sreshtho Golpo by Manik Bondhopadhdhay.
The best way to spend Eid: Relaxing on the couch watching a movie or going around the area visiting friends and family?
Relaxing on the couch and watching a movie.
