Khulna mayor fails to provide promised public transport

There is no city bus service in Khulna for the last 4 years, a city of 17 lakh inhabitants. As a result, the people, especially students and lower-middle class are being deprived of affordable public transport. The bus owner's association claims that they are unable to run the services due to CNG auto-rickshaw and three-wheeler owners' syndicate.
