Even a few years back, the Game of Coconut was a widely popular element of entertainment during Janmashtami celebrations at the villages of Bangladesh. It is still played in a limited fashion nowadays.  

Villagers in Lalmonirhat organised a session of the traditional game at the temple premises Saturday on the occasion of Janmashtami, the celebration of Sri Krishna's birth.

Teens and children of the Hindu community took part at the exciting game.
