Stalked by 'Jubo League man' girl kills herself

A madrasa girl studying in class VII hanged herself at her house in the capital's Pallabi last evening allegedly after being verbally abused by stalkers en route to the institution.
The family of Jamena Akter, 15, accused a ward-level local Jubo League leader, Juel, of passing lewd remarks at the girl yesterday morning and assaulting her and her family the previous night.
Pallabi police said a general diary was filed following Monday's assault on Jamena's family.
