‘We want to get Shakib out early’
Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been in a rich vein of form with the bat in the ongoing cricket World Cup, becoming the highest run-getter in the tournament. He is making runs and making them fast with a lot of authority. Australia’s Alex Carey said that the plan is to get Shakib’s wicket early.

After enjoying a brief break and then travelling to Ireland, the Bangladesh team trained on the field for the first time since their arrival at the Pembroke Cricket Club ground in Dublin. The Tigers are set to take part in a practice match against Ireland Wolves on May 5 ahead of their tri-series campaign opener against West Indies on May 7 at the Clontarf Cricket Club.
