We are hungry for victory, says Jamal
Captain Jamal Bhuiyan yesterday said that players of the national team are not yet fully fit for this month's international friendlies against Nepal even though Bashundhara Kings players are in better shape physically compared to the others.
"To be honest, the team is not fully fit as today (Monday) we played a match amongst ourselves and there were a lot of problems. We have to toil hard and do a lot of running before we achieve full fitness," Jamal told reporters after training session at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
"If we want to put up a good performance, we have to do well in both tactical and technical aspects," he said.
"We all are hungry for a victory because everyone reminded us that we lost to Nepal twice, so these things are in our minds and we want to win the matches."
