Boult's hattrick sinks Pakistan
--Afp
New Zealand paceman Trent Boult claimed a hattrick to help lead his side to a 47-run win over Pakistan in the first one-day international in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Boult finished with 3 for 54 as Pakistan, set a testing target of 267, were bowled out for 219 as New Zealand took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
Ross Taylor and Tom Latham scored fighting half centuries to lift New Zealand to a challenging 266-9. Taylor scored 80 for his 42nd half century while Latham knocked a 64-ball 68 -- including five hits to the ropes -- to lift New Zealand from 78-3 after they won the toss and batted.
But once the Taylor-Latham fourth wicket stand of 130 was broken, Pakistan's leg-spinner Shadab Khan derailed the innings with a burst of three wickets in the 42nd over.
Neymar blasts disrespectful referee

Brazil forward Neymar has accused the referee of Paris Saint-Germain's 1-1 draw against Napoli of disrespecting him.
Neymar says he will not repeat what Bjorn Kuipers said to him publicly but called for action to be taken about the match official.
"The referee told me something he should not have -- it was disrespectful," Neymar said after his side's Champions League game in Naples. "I do not want to repeat what he said to me. However, somebody high up should do something. He cannot be as disrespectful as he was with me.
"On the pitch, we are asked to show respect towards the referees. We should get the same in return."
Kyrgios seeks psychologist's help
– Afp
Temperamental Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios says he is talking to psychologists and "trying to get on top" of his mental health after another roller-coaster season where he was criticised for his on-court antics.
The world number 37 admitted he was working through mental health issues that had plagued him throughout the season.
"I was obviously struggling with a couple of things on and off the court this year, so it hasn't been easy," he told the Canberra Times. "But I'm starting to see some psychologists and trying to get on top of my mental health.
"I probably left it a little too long. But I've been doing that and I feel more open about talking about it, I don't feel like I've got to hide that sort of stuff any more."
