Renowned sports organiser Uzzal dies at the age of 63

Renowned sports organiser Anwar Hossain Uzzal, aged 63, breathed his last today in the afternoon at the Impulse Hospital. 

Uzzal served as the vice president of Brothers Union before the Gopibagh-based outfit turned into a limited company in 2009. He also served as the joint secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) till 2008 before Kazi Salahuddin was elected as the president.

Uzzal, younger brother of late Mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka, left behind two daughters, a son, wife and a lot of well-wishers to mourn his death. 

A press release from BFF said Uzzal died of different complications and breathing problems.

Brothers Union manager Amer Khan informed that he was supposed to be buried at Jurain graveyard tonight.
