Bangladesh shooters seal silver at ISSF Grand Prix

Bangladesh bagged a silver medal when the men's 10m Air Rifle team finished behind Singapore in the gold-medal decider at the ISSF Grand Prix tournament in Indonesia's capital Jakarta this morning.

Bangladesh comprising Rabbi Hasan Munna, Mohammad Ali and Shovon Chowdhury could tally up to 14 points against Singapore's 16 in the final match and had to remain content with a silver medal despite having qualified for the final as the top team with 622.8 score. 

Before the semi-final match, Bangladesh Rifle team had also finished top with 930 scores but they could not keep the momentum intact during the final hurdle. 

Earlier in the tournament, Bangladesh had won two bronze medals in women's 10m Air Rifle event and 10m Air Rifle mixed event.
