Unhappy Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly rejected Real Madrid’s contract offer and wants to leave in the summer transfer window.
The Real Madrid star has come under criticism for his early season form at Real Madrid and was said to be unhappy after their 3-0 win over Las Palmas because he did not find the net. He was also reportedly disappointed that goal-scorer Isco, who Ronaldo assisted for Madrid’s third goal did not come to celebrate with him.
Spanish TV El Chiringuito has reported that the Portuguese forward has informed Real president Florentino Perez that he wants a move away from the Bernabeu for a reasonable price.
Ronaldo is said to be unsettled at Madrid, with the former Manchester United player also irked by his 20 million euro tax case. The Portuguese international however has a contract with Madrid till 2021.
After Spain’s 3-3 friendly draw against Russia, Real’s captain Sergio Ramos was asked about Ronaldo’s future and the defender replied: "Cristiano is leaving? Ask him, I don't know about these things."
El Chiringuito added that the former Manchester United star was also irked by Real’s pursuit of Kylian Mbappe who’s since signed for PSG.
Given the rumours surrounding Madrid’s interest in PSG star man Neymar, the speculations surrounding Ronaldo’s Real future might gather momentum.
However, El Chiringuito also said that Real president Perez does not want the Portuguese forward to leave.
