Barcelona based media outlet Sport has reported that Paris Saint Germain are desperate to confirm Neymar’s departure from the French outfit as soon as possible.
The forward’s situation at PSG has become untenable, with Neymar having made clear his desire to leave, the fans abusing him, and the club realising it is in everyone’s best interest to move him on.
Earlier today, RAC1 reported that Barca officials Javier Bordas, Eric Abidal and Andre Cury were flying out to speak with PSG's director of football, Leonardo. The meeting was possibly to start talks towards a possible move.
Sport has now reported that PSG president Nasser Al Khelafi expressed wish for the Neymar deal to be wrapped up as soon as possible. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona had reportedly been competing for the Brazilian’s signing.
Sport also reported that Barcelona are interested in a loan deal for the time being while England based Independent wrote “it is understood some of Neymar’s Brazilian teammates at Madrid and Barca currently feel this [a loan deal] is likeliest.”
