The manager is currently in his third season with United and the start of the season did not quite go according to plans as his team suffered two early defeats in the league. The international break looked to have come at the perfect time for the embattled Portuguese boss, who probably needed a week out of the limelight and the English papers more than anyone in English football.
But thanks to a few fateful steps, he was awarded no such luxury.
The 55-year-old climbed over a red rope but caught it with his back leg and stumbled onto the floor.
He fell and got up rather quickly, laughing off the incident but that did not seem to stop the incident from going viral.
The Manchester United boss cannot seem to catch a break at this moment.
