Kings keep winning  

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) holders Bashundhara Kings notched up yet another victory as they handed a single-goal defeat to Sheikh Russel KC in their penultimate league game at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today.

Robson Da Silva separated the two sides in the 79th minute after converting a penalty to deliver his side the 21st victory out of 23 matches. And in the process, the Brazilian raised his goal tally to 21, two more the Gambian striker Pa Omar Jobe of Sheikh Jamal DC.

Kings, who arrived into the match on the back of a 3-0 win over Saif SC in their previous encounter, reached 64 points from 23 matches, some 12 points more than the runners-up Sheikh Jamal DC. 

Now the champions Kings are set to wrap up their BPL campaign by playing against third-placed Abahani on Monday at the same venue.
