Former footballer Nowsheruzzaman in ICU due to Covid-19

Nowsheruzzaman, a well-known striker of Swadhin Bangla Football Team, is currently undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Greenlife Hospital in the capital due to coronavirus.

He was initially admitted to Mugda General Hospital but due to the unavailability of ICU there, he was later shifted to Greenlife Hospital. 

The former footballer, who played for the national team, also holds the record for scoring most goals in a season for Mohammedan. He also played cricket for the same club as an opener.
