Bangladesh national football team will play two practice matches against Bhutan ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Qatar and India, National Teams Committee member Tabith Awaal informed media today.
The two pratice matches will take place on September 29 and October 3 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
"We have two World Cup qualifying matches coming up. The national team will play two pratice matches against Bhutan as part of preparation," Tabith told media.
"We once lost against Bhutan. So there is nothing to take them lightly. We expect good matches against them. Since many of the Asian countries are busy with their qualifying fixtures, we got Bhutan which is a good option for us," added Tabith.
Bangladesh will host Qatar in Dhaka on October 10 before travelling to Kolkata to play against India on October 15. Bangladesh lost their first match of the qualfying campaign 1-0 against Afghanistan earlier this month.
