Former booters join protest
Former national team footballers and organisers submitted a memorandum to Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin yesterday, demanding the immediate removal of BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, who allegedly told BFF vice president Badal Roy not to return to the federation.
Former booters such as Jakaria Pintu, Pratap Sarkar Hazra, Golam Sarwar Tipu, Asharful Uddin Chunnu, Hasanuzzama Khan Bablu, Khandokar Wasim, Arman Mia and Saifur Rahman Moni and organisers AK Sarkar and Manosh Das Dholu were present, among others, during the protest at the BFF house yesterday.
The BFF has formed a five-member committee to look into the matter.
