Faulty number plate, Dhoni fined

Rule of the law did not spare even India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The Ranchi traffic police fined him 450 rupees for displaying faulty number plate on his bike.

He was spotted by the police when he was taking a tour of Ranchi on the bike without security guards.

According to traffic police, Dhoni violated rule which stipulate that the number plate on a vehicle should be displayed in a horizontal way.

The vintage bullet which Dhoni rode on the streets of his native town had a registration number plate displayed in a vertical manner instead of horizontal on the front wheel mudguard.

Dhoni's family has paid the fine, said the police and added that captain cool violated the rules due to ignorance.
