Starc to miss $1m IPL pay

Australia are resigned to being without their most dangerous bowler for the World Twenty20 tournament if, as expected, Mitchell Starc undergoes ankle surgery in the next week and there will be a hefty financial loss for the player with an operation to also rule him out of collecting more than $1 million in the Indian Premier League.
