New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel, who took four wickets in the third T20I to bring his side back into contention in the five-match series against Bangladesh, shares a light moment with batting coach Thilan Samaraweera during their training session in Mirpur yesterday. “They [Bangladesh] have had a fantastic record not just against us but also against every other team in the world [at home]. So, for them to lose, they’ll come back pretty strong and they’ll be hurting from that [the 52-run defeat in the third T20I]. We’re certainly prepared for a backlash from them but we’re going to fight fire with fire, so to speak, and we’re certainly up for it as well,” New Zealand stand-in coach Glenn Pocknall said ahead of today’s game. And definitely, the visitors will be looking forward to Patel for keeping the series alive when they take on Bangladesh in the fourth match today. PHOTO: STAR
