The Tigresses will face their South African counterparts on March 5 at the University Oval, Dunedin in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 in New Zealand.

ICC on Tuesday revealed the full fixture of the tournament, which is set to get underway with the hosts New Zealand playing West Indies on 4 March at the Bay Oval in Tauranga.

All eight teams will play against each other in the first round with the top four teams qualifying for the semifinals.

A total of 31 games will be played across 31 days. A total of six cities -- Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Wellington -- will host the tournament.

Bangladesh women's team qualified for the mega event for the first time ever after 2021 the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe was called off due to Covid-19.
