Tamim to miss Pakistan Tests?
Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal is uncertain for the two-Test series against Pakistan later this month, confirmed a source close to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Tamim was recovering from a left thumb injury, which he picked while playing in the Everest Premier League in Nepal last October.
However, the latest scan on Sunday revealed that the injury aggravated, rendering the left-hander uncertain for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan.
It was also learned that the BCB medical team will further assess Tamim's condition tomorrow.
Tamim had started his recovery process and practiced at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium for a few days.
Following a three-match T20I series, Bangladesh are scheduled to play two World Test Championship fixtures against Pakistan with the first Test starting on November 26 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
