Khulna district cricket captain Reazul Islam Kajal breathed his last on Wednesday night at the age of 32. Reazul, who suddenly fell sick, died on his way to the Khulna hospital yesterday.
Khulna District Sports Association's Joint Secratariat Sheikh Hemayatullah confirmed the news of Reazul's demise. Reazul, who also worked as a coach at a local cricket academy, is assumed to have died of a heart disease.
A source close to Reazul's family informed that Reazul, who was at his in-laws in Jashore yesterday, fell sick after dinner. He was then rushed to a local hospital. However, after noticing no such improvement in his condition, Reazul was being transferred to the Khulna Hospital for better treatment but he breathed his last on the way.
