ICC security team arrives
A four-member International Cricket Council (ICC) security team arrived in Dhaka yesterday to inspect the venues of the 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Bangladesh from January 22 to February 14, 2016.
As per the itinerary, the team is scheduled to meet the High Commissioners of United Kingdom and Australia today. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will then present them with a security plan after which they will travel to Cox's Bazar to inspect the venue.
They also reportedly have meetings scheduled with the National Security Intelligence, the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence and the Home Ministry. Towards the end they will have a final meeting with the BCB .
