PERFORMER OF THE DAY
SABBIR RAHMAN
Labelled a shorter format specialist and his mindset questioned when he was selected for the Test side, debutant Sabbir Rahman put any lingering doubts to rest with an imperious performance on the fourth day of the Chittagong Test against England. The stylish batsman held his own against England's big guns to score an unbeaten 59 -- smashing three fours and two sixes -- and formed a vital 87-run sixth-wicket partnership with captain Mushfiqur Rahim. After the skipper's departure, Sabbir understandably mellowed a bit, but he will be the key for Bangladesh going into the final day if the hosts are to clinch a first-ever Test win against England.
