Tigress's Pak series starts October 1

Pakistan women's cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on September 29 to play a four-match T20I series which will be followed by a lone ODI against their Bangladesh counterparts.

It will be the Tigress's first home series after their stupendous performance in the ICC World Twenty20 qualifiers in July, which they won defeating Ireland in the Netherlands.

Bangladesh's first of the four T20Is against Pakistan will take place on October 1. All the matches including the only ODI, which is scheduled on October 8, will be held in Cox's Bazar.

The high flying Bangladesh women's team, under a revamped coaching staff, are on a roll since their triumph in the ACC Asia Cup in Malaysia earlier this year and it is expected that the series against Pakistan would be an ideal preparation ahead of the ICC World Twenty 20 in the West Indies in November.

The cricketers have been training in Rajshahi over the past few weeks where head coach Anju Jain will be looking to continue the momentum before heading towards the flagship event.
