Bowlers shine on Day One
A disciplined bowling unit led by Mushfiq Hasan's four for 37 helped Bangladesh Under-16 bundle out their Pakistan counterparts for 148 on the first day of their first three-day Test at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah yesterday.
Asked to bat, Bangladesh kept the visitors at bay right from the word go as Pakistan's batsmen were unable to add anything meaningful to their below par score. All five of Bangladesh's bowlers were amongst the wickets on the day, scalping at least one wicket each.
Coming in to bat, Bangladesh managed a score of 119 for five at the close despite losing opener Sazzad Hossain in the very first over.
