New coach by next month: Hassan
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan said that they are expecting a new head coach for the Tigers to arrive in the first week of next month.
"We will finalise it after this series. We have invited them for interviews. We might have two or three aspirants. Hopefully, we will finalise a coach within this month. We expect a new coach will be with us by the first week of next month," Hassan told reporters in Colombo yesterday.
The BCB boss however refrained from disclosing the identity of the aspirants.
"It is difficult to say at the moment who are they. They will be coming from different places," Hassan responded to queries from an army of Bangladeshi media covering the Nidahas Trophy T20I tri-series in the Sri Lankan capital.
He also looked very happy after Bangladesh's magnificent five-wicket win against the hosts on Saturday night, when the Tigers toppled a towering 214.
"The most important thing is they tried to give their best. The way they have won, it proved that they can beat any team in the world. It is important," Hassan remarked. 21212121
