Sk Russel face FC Khayr today

Sheikh Russel KC will be hoping for a miracle to move into the next phase of the 2015-16 AFC Cup when they take on the mighty FC Khayr in the play-off match in Tajikistan today.

Sheikh Russel, the treble winner of 2013 season, went there to compete against Tajikistan Premier League's runners-up FC Khayr sans five national players like Emily, Hemanta and Zahid who were involved for the national team in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup and it is certainly going to be a tough job for the Bangladeshi side to overcome the hurdles of the home team in freezing Tajikistan.

If Sheikh Russel can beat FC Khayr, they will take on Lebanese Cup champions Salam Zgharta on February 17 in the second play-off match.
