Silence, please!

Does the traffic seem a bit too horrible these days? It's already painful enough that we have to sit on our cars or taxis or crowded public buses for long hours, often being late for office and appointments.

The annoying wait is even more dreadful due to the noise pollution. Rickshaws constantly ring bells while cars and buses honk impatiently.

Protect yourself from noise pollution as much as you can. If you are at the car, pull up the windows. You can also consider using ear plugs and noise-cancelling headphones.

But most of all make sure that you are not the one creating noise pollution. Do not honk incessantly. Granted, it may prove to be difficult not to honk in our roads, as they are in an utter chaos. But go easy on the horn, as much as it's possible.
