Siddukur on top

Country's premier golfer Siddikur Rahman bounced back to top the leaderboard of the Summit Open at the close of second day at the Kurmitola Golf Club yesterday.

Siddikur, who played two-under-par on the first day to finish fifth, put up a brilliant performance to play a seven-under-par 63 on the second day to finish top of the leaderboard with an overall nine-under-par 131.

The winner of Asian tour, who played eight birdies and one bogey in the second round, hopes to keep his lead in the third and final day today.

Dulal Hossain with four-under-par and Jamal Hossain Bhuiya with two-under-par were in the second and third positions respectively.
