Siddikur off to Switzerland
Golfer Siddikur Rahman left for Switzerland in the early hours of Saturday to participate in the Omega Masters, a co-sanctioned event of European Tour and Asian Tour, which starts from September 4. This is the first event of the second half of the year in the Asian Tour calendar and brings Siddikur back into action after a break of three months.
A back injury forced Siddikur into the elongated break since the end of the Queens Cup in Thailand in early June. The Masters event will launch a busy second half of the season for Siddikur as he will be off to Taiwan to play in the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship and a few other events shortly after returning from Switzerland.
