From the Editor’s Desk

For a long time we have been discussing with Jaya to publish an issue solely on her, something that has finally been accomplished. Credits need to be given to our wonderful makeup artist Farzana Munny and our very own Shahrear Kabir Heemel who has paid special attention in taking fantastic photographs of Jaya Ahsan. 

Every Eid, we make sure to release a special issue, which we try to make a bit different and unique compared to normal issues. When I went to our editor Mahfuz Anam to get the permission for this issue he gave it to me without a second thought. The fact that there can be a special issue for Jaya alone is something no one should have any complaint about. This special issue features the opinions of people who have closely worked with Jaya; they have talked about what they think of this superstar and their experiences with her. Their opinions will give a good idea of Jaya's work ethics and dedication in her field. 

I myself will state this much; Jaya's arrival in the industry and her growth up to this point has been nothing less than exemplary, and it is something I have seen with my own eyes. She has slowly but steadily built herself to be one of the most successful actors in this industry. There have been many similar stars in the past who, be it through misfortune or their own lack of effort, had lost their shine amongst the crowd. But Jaya has, time and time again, triumphed against all odds and proven herself to be an exemplary showbiz personality.

Nonetheless, this isn't the extent of Jaya's talent; she has the potential to be more successful, even outside the film industries of Bangladesh and Kolkata. I am sure that in the near future, she will land roles in the international scenario as well, because she definitely has what it takes to shine there as well. It is only a matter of time. Star Showbiz wishes Jaya loads more success in the future to come!
