NOT-ANIMES - THAT PEOPLE MISTAKE FOR ANIMES
Did you ever wake up thinking "that anime I watched really grinds my gears"? Well, I've felt that way too many times to do nothing, so I finally put all my frustrations to pen and paper and this is what I have to say.
Naruto:
Ask yourself one question, "What is a ninja?" If your answer to this is "a fox-kin who wears an orange jumper and practices jutsus everywhere", then you should go and watch Ninja Hatorri.
DING NING NING NING NING
See? Ninja Hattori is always the better ninja than Naruto. Why? He insults Naruto in every single episode. What does the fox say?
DING NING NING NING NING
That's right Naruto. You got owned by Ninja Hattori.
Ben 10:
This doesn't even deserve to be called anime. What kind of anime supports cross-species dressing? Each episode shows a boy named Ben cross dressing into an alien. What kind of black magic is that? He basically spits on his human heritage every time. What does this teach the children? On the other hand, anime such as Hayate the Combat Butler will uphold your moral code so that you may enjoy it with dignity.
Lizzie McGuire:
Every day I came back from Vennu Mallesh Kid Lovers' Association, turned my TV on and changed the channel to Animax hoping for another X-Men - Wolverine and Friends episode. Instead I was greeted by this sad excuse for an anime. You know what? I don't even think this was an anime, even if it did air on Animax. All of Lizzie McGuire episodes had this unrealistic 12 year-old girl with her unrealistic 12 year-old girl problems. Watch Gurenn Lagann instead, it has way more life-like 12 year-old girls there.
Avatar:
This is not an anime, even I know that. However, there are people in the online anime community who think it is. Well, it isn't! Avatar is a manga! Just because the characters have big eyes and cool blue hair doesn't make it an anime, it could be a manga as well. I just wanted that to be cleared up.
LEGO Movie:
Just because a movie has Morgan Freeman in it doesn't make the LEGO Movie an anime. Other Morgan Freeman movies were animes, sure. But, the LEGO Movie is nowhere near an anime.
My Little Pony:
I don't know why people like this. It's not an anime and it's not a manga. It's something that little children watch, not grown adults. I'm really sad to say that grown people actually watch this. I-I'm sorry, but... I can't... I can't write about this any more.
