Being young is tricky business. It's great because you have time on your side, and the freedom to choose your path, something people with years behind them are constantly keen to remind us of. But what they often forget about their own heydays is that you are often lost if there are too many ways to go, and how truly daunting the fear of the perils that lie beyond the haze is. You're the new guy with the fresh blood wherever you go, and it takes time before you manage to define yourself as something more than that.
Having said all that, being young is great when you have things to learn and people to learn from. Being new is just as great if it's at a place you want to be a part of. Here's to being new and young for an adequate amount of time, until you're old and hopefully, wise.
