BRACU holds orientation programme for Summer 2018

Inaugurating “Freshman Orientation Programme – Summer 2018” in Golf Garden in the capital, BRAC University (BRACU) VC Prof. Syed Saad Andaleeb PhD requested guardians to allow their children to study in subjects of their preference.

He said most parents want their children to become doctors or engineers but this world would become very much boring if there were no entrepreneurs, artists, writers, or media people.

Registrar Lt. Col. Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd.) congratulated students for starting this new chapter of life. Pro-VC Prof. Ansar Ahmed PhD presented the closing remarks. He also informed students about “BRACU Voice”, an email platform for students where they can speak on important issues.

The event saw the screening of video presentations giving participating freshers an overview of BRACU and its residential campus.

Representatives of several administrative departments also gave individual presentations regarding their services and a BRACU almuni reflected on her experiences in BRACU.

Department heads, faculty members, and officials welcomed the students along with their parents who attended the orientation.
