BMW M2 Competition
BMW has taken the already-great M2 and made it hardcore – first by adding more power and second, by stiffening things up. While the "basic" M2 got hailed as one of the best drivers' cars ever and signified as a potential future classic thanks to its pure sense of purpose, the M2 Competition takes things to another level with a power increase of 45 HP (now at 410 HP from its TwinPower Turbo inline six cylinder) and torque increase of 63 lb-ft (standing at 406 lb-ft) over the normal M2. 60 MPH comes in around 4.2 seconds for the seven speed DCT gearbox, while it's slightly slower at 4.4 seconds with the traditional six speed manual. There's an active differential, bumped up rigidity and recalibrated steering sensitivity. All of that spells deliciously packaged driving machine.
