Ace Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s team Melbourne Renegades begins Big Bash Season 2014/15 with a win by 37 runs against Hobart Hurricanes at Bellerive Oval, Hobart today.
Renegades scored 163 for 7 in 20 overs and Hurricanes were all out for 126 runs in 19.2 overs in reply. Shakib scored 14 runs in 12 balls and bagged 2 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs for Renegades.
England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who joined Renegades as a replacement for injured New Zealand all-rounder Jesse Ryder, scored 77 off just 37 balls on his Australia Big Bash debut for Melbourne Renegades.
