Sayedee again gets check-up at BSMMU

Convicted war criminal Delawar Hossain Sayedee was again taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University for medical check-up yesterday after he had complained of lower back and knee pain.

He was sent there from Dhaka Central Jail, Sayedee's family, BSMMU and the prison authorities said.

The 74-year-old Jamaat leader was later sent back to the jail after his x-ray at the hospital, Senior Jail Super Farman Ali told The Daily Star.

Sayedee's son Masood Sayedee said the x-ray reports were yet to be delivered.

On Monday, Sayedee was shifted to the Dhaka jail from Gazipur's Kashimpur jail following a medical check-up at the BSMMU as he complained of chest pain.
