OBITUARY
Prof Dr Idfag Middle Class was finally reunited with his beloved partner Equality -- greatly missed for the last six decades -- on the astral plane. A class, once considered to be agents of social change, was hailed only as recently as last year as being the country's backbone. But it was a backbone all too overburdened by wondering what the difference between living paycheque to paycheque and doing so to uphold certain living standards was. The Middle Class, which everyone claimed they were always for, lived a great life, spanning many decades in the country. In that time, he had strived to be that strong broad back of the elephant in the so-called Elephant curve. But all backs must eventually break and when buying your child brand new school books meant a delay in paying rent, Middle Class finally knew his time had come. He passed after suffering a cardiac arrest as the story goes. Middle Class's family expressed their grief but also thanked God for a quick death; not only for Middle Class's easy release but also because it meant they would save on healthcare costs they can no longer afford. Middle Class leaves behind his children Lower Middle Class, Lower Lower Middle Class and Upper Middle Class, all christened thus so that the family name may live on even if it means next to nothing in this country.
