Matiul Islam Nowshad

Matiul Islam Nowshad has recently been appointed as the chief corporate and people officer of Robi Axiata, the operator said in a statement yesterday.
Prior to the appointment, Nowshad has been serving Robi as chief human resource officer since 2010, according to the statement.
Nowshad's efforts have been endorsed by winning the Axiata People award 2014, a milestone award for human resource leadership, said Supun Weerasinghe, managing director and chief executive of Robi.
Nowshad also won the fifth Employer of Choice award presented by the World HRD Congress, Weerasinghe said.
