Road crashes kill six, injure 10

Three people died and four others were injured when a three-wheeler collided head-on with a bus on Barisal-Banaripara road at Narayanpur of Guthiya union under Wazirpur Police Station in Barisal yesterday.

Of the deceased two were Awlad Hossain, a constable of Barisal Customs office and Hannan Haoladar of Pirojpur.

In Dinerer Pol area under Barisal Bandar Police Station, Panna Haoladar, 40, died and six people were injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch as the driver lost control over the vehicle on Laharhut-Charkawa road.

Meanwhile in Chittagong City, Md Rubel, 28, of Laxipur Sadar died after being hit by a lorry in Bandar area yesterday.

In Rahamatganj area Satyananda Moharaj, 60, of Fatikchhari upazila died when a battery-run auto-rickshaw carrying him turned turtle in Rahamatganj area.
