Road crashes kill 6, injure 25
Six people died and 25 others were injured in road accidents in the country yesterday and Sunday.
Our Pabna correspondent reports, three people were killed and 10 others injured as a pick-up hit a three-wheeler on Dhaka-Pabna highway at Sholabaria under Ataikula Police Station yesterday.
The deceased were Ramzan Ali, 50, Helal Uddin, 40, of Madhpur village and Mofazzal Hossain, 35, of Boailmari village.
Our Rangpur correspondent reports, Khodeja Begum, 55, of Rostomabad village died and two people were injured when a tractor collided head-on with a three-wheeler on Badarganj-Madhyapara road in Osmanpur Beltali area under Badarganj upazila on Sunday.
Our Savar correspondent adds, two people were killed and 15 others injured when a bus collided head-on with a three-wheeler on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Moraganj area of Ashulia yesterday.
One of the deceased was Shohel Rana, 22, of Barisal.
