Road crashes kill 6
Countrywide road accidents killed six people and injured 17 others yesterday and Wednesday
In Natore, Shiahab Uddin, 35, of Rajshahi died and 10 people were injured when a truck and a human-hauler collided head-on in Chandpur area of Natore Sadar on Wednesday.
In Gazipur, a bus helper died and five people were injured when a bus turned turtle as the driver lost control over the vehicle on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Nayanpur area of Sreepur upazila yesterday.
In Dinajpur, Josna Begum, 60, of Purbasaparhati village died when a truck hit a three-wheeler on Ghoraghat-Hakimpur road at Khetabmoar in Ghoraghat upazila yesterday.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man died when a police-van hit him in Baduria area of Nawabganj upazila.
In Chandpur, two unidentified people were killed and two others injured as a tractor rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Faridganj upazila yesterday.
